Another convert of Eugene Vintrass techniques of sex-magick was an unfrocked Belgian Catholic priest and abbe named Joseph-Antoine Boullan. After Vintras death, Boullan, believed by many to be a dabbler in black magic, proclaimed himself as the new Supreme Pontiff and the reincarnation of St. John the Baptist (see Sexuality, Magic & Perversion by Francis King). Boullan was known to engage in sexual activity with angels, seraphim, cherubim and a host of other heavenly beings, a type of left-hand sex magick designed to speed up spiritual evolution and lead to divine union. Besides those astral entities of the heavenly realm, he also copulated with the disembodied beings of historical personalities such as Cleopatra. Congressus subtilis with such non-physical beings (i.e. the spirit of the deceased) is known as Spectrophilia. Given Saunieres devotion to the Magdalen, one wonders if he didnt engage in this highly-specialized form of sex magic with the penitent harlot in order to gain information of an occult nature and/or discover the location of a hidden treasure. Although it may be entertaining to consider such possibilities, there is probably a better reason as to why Sauniere spent time inLyons. Again, from the research of Andre Douzet we learn that The area of the Macchabees in Lyons was, in medieval times, under the patronage of Mary Magdalene. There was a chapel there, as well as a cemetery for 10,000 martyrs, the memorial of which was again under the protection of Mary Magdalene. Only two steps away from Saunieres lodgings was the entrance to an underground gallery, the old catacombs and crypts of Mary Magdalene below St. Just. So, once again, Saunieres interest may have been in the place of the dead. THE OSIRIAN RESURRECTION AND THE FOURTEEN STATIONS OF THE CROSS Occupying a predominant amount of space in Saunieres little church are the bas-reliefs of the Fourteen Stations of the Cross. Running counter-clockwise along the walls, as we have seen, these gaudy, brightly-painted plaques contain certain anomalous features that many researchers believe comprise a cryptic book of sorts designed to reveal (or offer hints) to the location of a great treasure or of the powerful secret that Sauniere and his confederates were privy to. It is important to note that the number 14 itself corresponds to the Egyptian cult of Osiris, that of which Jesus may have been initiated into. Although the Stations in Saunieres church contain many oddities, in our view, the first and last Stations give away the game (although it is totally obscure without the requisite key). Keeping in mind that the Stations run counter-clockwise, an examination of Station #14 (Jesus is laid in the Tomb) reveals that the scene takes place against the background of a night sky complete with a full moon. Therefore, it appears that the body of Jesus is being carried from the tomb, and not into it. If we then study Station #1 (Pilate washes his Hands), several things stick out. First of all, the person attending Pontius Pilate is black, a cryptic allusion to al-Khemy. Secondly, the figure (a Jewish priest?) on Pilates right is holding up a golden object. Gold nugget or coin, whatever this is, the figure is holding it up to the forehead of Jesus, the location of his pineal gland/third eye. And finally, there is Pilate himself. Although the idea of Pilate washing his hands is considered by most to be symbolic of his innocence in the Crucifixion of Jesus, it might have another more esoteric meaning. Traditionally, before one sits down to eat, they wash their hands. |
